Blue Lobster

The Blue Lobster, commonly sold in the aquarium trade as the Electric Blue Crayfish (Procambarus alleni), is a striking freshwater crustacean celebrated for its brilliant, solid cobalt-blue coloration and robust, armor-plated body. Reaching a manageable adult size of 4 to 6 inches, these active and highly territorial bottom-dwellers make fascinating centerpiece specimens. They are best kept as solitary pets or in a dedicated species tank by hobbyists who can provide a secure, escape-proof aquarium equipped with plenty of rocky hiding places, caves, and a varied sinking diet
